Time goes by ...

Time goes by ...

Time passes, things change places, people change feature. But my love continues to grow and to not make the mistake of living in the past or projecting the future, I convinced myself to live the present.
But to live the present  I invited my dear son to be with me at all times. I do this daily contact through my thoughts and through prayers and deeply commenting on current events.
I believe in the intercession of our good angel Iel and many good things have in fact happened. Things that in the past would make me jump of joy. I'm not so euphoric currently. I hid in my heart these small material victories  that comfort me a little and I share everything with my particular angel.
Our children are angels of light and thinking this way we realize how well we are privileged. We received the gift of their lives on earth and now they are angels in heaven to watch over us.

Algumas amigas as quais dei esse conselho me confirmaram.

Comer, rezar e amar realmente faz bem.

What to do?

When sadness and nostalgia do not let you sleep?

Close your eyes and think of a beautiful place where your beloved son or daughter would love to be and imagine him (her) very happy there. I often imagine that my beloved Iel is in a beautiful garden with a huge yellow lawn beneath the shade of a large tree surrounded by dogs of different breeds. Believe it works and has been tested ... Some friends to whom I gave this advice confirmed.

When asked how many children do you have?

Count with him(her). He (she) will always be your much loved child. In my case I say I have three sons, and the eldest is already in heaven. This is a tip from the book "A dor que não tem nome" or "Nameless pain" wrote by my dear friend Maria Eugenia. It is genial. The answer shows the truth and makes us feel good.

When people ask how you are?

Say "holding the hand of God" or "in peace" It is much better than say "I am doing well". In fact we are not well but trying hard, holding the hand of God and seeking peace.

When you are desolate and nothing pleases you?

Devote your time and love to your other children. They will feel it and will be safer about your love. Soon you will see good results. If you do not physically have children, so dedicate more to your  grandchildren or engage in a new activity that you always liked. First of all, read good books, but especially the Bible and pray ... Eat, pray and love really does work.

A vida é o agora. Portanto viva o momento. Aja no momento.

More Conclusions

Loving yourself and live the present. Those are my two recent findings. The first conclusion, loving yourself, came from the interpretation of the gospel according to St. Mark and referred to the commandments of God's law:

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like it is, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is no other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:30-31.

If the second commandment is like the first mentioned, it means loving your neighbor as yourself is like loving God. Note well: love your neighbor as yourself. So loving yourself is a condition to love others and to God himself. That is, we must first love ourselves to then be able to love others.
The second conclusion, live the present, was inspired by the ideas of Indian Deepak Chopra, in his book the Source of Lasting Happiness he says

"You can not act on the past or the future, so if you live in the past or in the future, you will feel helpless. Life is now. So live for the moment. Act now. Prepare yourself now."

It's true. If we live in now thinking of the past we will always feel helpless because nothing can be reversed. The fact of trying to predict the future of both dreaming and planning what will no longer become a reality, is a source of sadness and anger. So live in the present is what we shall do.

Sigmund Freud

Search and Conclusions

Throughout this tortuous path I have questioned and come to some conclusions.

The first is that there is no answer to the common question "why?" It is fruitless and destructive. Time does not return and what happened could not be avoided because if that was possible it would have been.

Another conclusion is that we must accept. Through the strengthening of faith in God is easier to achieve peace and acceptance. As rational beings we certainly act rationally and rationally we decide that we must choose what is best for us and reject what is worse. Therefore, it is rational to seek God and live better and constructively.

I also concluded that we all have a mission in this world and if God, that everything can, allowed the departure of our children, is because their mission had been accomplished. This was their time. One time we were very happy, but will still be with peace  and faith in God we will succeed!

The day of those who preceded us

Today is a holiday in Brazil, like the Memorial Day in the US. In Brazil this date is called "finados". Which in the dictionary means: dead, deceased, defundo. In turn dead and defundo is: who left to live, faded, succumbed, forgotten, inert, among other synonyms. Already, the word deceased, appears in the dictionary with the meaning of failure, scarce. It's all wrong!

The day is the day of the ones who preceded us and should be so named. This would give a real sense of how finite is our limited time in this life. And this reminder is very important for those who have not yet understood that are not eternal. Today we honor those who have gone before us only "to the other side of the road." And, in a moment, shall we. Certainty is in the bible:

"The life of the righteous are in the hands of God ... In the eyes of fools, those appeared to have died, and waht happened to them was considered as disgrace. Fools thought that the departure of the righteous among us was an annihilation, but are now in peace. thought that people were just serving a sentence but hoped immortality ... receive great benefits, because God tried them and found them worthy of it ... those who trust in him will understand truth and those who are faithful will live with him in love, because grace and mercy are reserved for his elected. "Wisdom 2-3.

So, death is not the end, they just preceded us into a new life!
