Ups and Downs
People say that life is made of ups and downs. But when there occurs the withdrawal of
someone so precious the "ups" are scarce or virtually impossible
to experience. As for the "downs" yes, these are frequent visits.
In one of these times of "down" I received the following message from my dear
sister Eliane Barbosa that by having touched me so closely and show so much wisdom
I want to share with you:
"My dear sister Eveline,
The longing you feel for our beloved Iel is legitimate and unique in your heart.
The love of a mother is eternal, nothing dims. He will always be in your retina
as you view him in your thoughts and will always be in your heart following you,
whether you're working, chatting, having fun and giving attention to
your other sons. Longing, yes, it's natural. Deep sadness that erodes not.
In the story of our life we are not the authors but the actors. "
Actually "we are not authors." We do what we think is the most correct,
fight for the welfare of our children, the joy and fulfillment of them.
We are good actors because we fulfill our role, our mission in the best way
possible. We strive ... But we do not have and can not have the domain of history
which is often written in absentia of our will.
But we should be proud to have always offered our best. Continue
our mission and seek new challenges helps ward off the "downs". Help to live!
