Mothers and Fathers of Santa Maria-Rio Grande do Sul-Brazil

Dear mothers and fathers,

I mean dear because you were, are and will always be loved by his beloved children. They are now in the arms of the Father and to Him we turn our pain and ask for consolation. Here's the advice from a mother who have felt the same pain:

1) strengthen the faith in God, read the Bible and good books (a hint: "The pain that has no name");

2) accept the new reality, however bad it is and believe that your children are well;

3) live each day, one after the other and focus on the present;

4) we all have a mission to fulfill, obey and surrender to God.

Your love never ends and the gift you received to take care and train you fulfilled very well. An unexpected event separated them momentarily. But soon enough you will be reunited in a place where they're pretty well along with my son and other young people.

No use to cultivate hatred. Justice yes. It will be done. But look for the reunion to take place in the near future we must cultivate faith and have peace. The peace that Jesus Christ left us. And hate do not combines with peace.

A kiss in the heart!

1)fortalecam a fé em Deus, leiam a biblia e bons livros (uma dica:"A Dor que não tem Nome");
2)aceitem a nova realidade, por pior que ele seja e acredite que seus filhos estão bem;
3)vivam cada dia, um após o outro e se concentrem no presente;

What difference at this point does it make?

The above question of the Secretary of State Hilary Clinton reverberated worldwide and was actually a response to Republican Senator Ron Johnson, who argued that she could have prevented the attack that killed four Americans at the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
What happened, happened and we need to live with the new reality. The hardest is the same farewell. Goodbyes hurt, because bring the taste of definitive, never more and we relutate...
Life is made up of farewells. We said goodbye to dolls, friends when we moved, habits, jobs, books, loved ones, classmates. We are constantly firing though we can never get used to easily.
But the good thing about all this is that everything that we had is part of what we are today, then are part of us! Our beloved children then, not to mention ... They became part of what we are and thus are part of our essence and we carry with us forever.
In fact, nothing makes a difference now. Our loved ones are and always will be tattooed on our hearts. The difference we can do while we're here, is to be aware of this, take a positive attitude and uncover new paths with peace in the heart.

Resignation with Resilience

Resignation means to settle peacefully the new reality. It is a fact that conform to situations is not a typical attitude of one who has always struggled: at work, in the studies illness or for any other  situation.But given what we now have, the more rational is the resignation that, as a wise friend told me, is much deeper than acceptance. But not just resignation. Is Resignation with resiliency.Resignation refers to a situation of bowing before a fact that damage us internally. We need to go beyond that to achieve reaction. We need resilience. Like a high jump pole we bowed down until our limit and we can not break to be able to return to our original shape, dissipating the stored energy that allows the release.The resignation has in it a sort of accommodation which is important given that what occurred is unchangeable. But it is also essential that the resilience leads to a reaction. In fact, if all the forces of nature competed and God, that can everything, permitted that our beloved departed before us, resignation with resiliency is the strategy to be followed to find a new path so that we can live in peace and go on the walk.If there is a purpose for everything it is useless to revolt, anger, bitterness or resentment that sometimes appear coated in a layer of nostalgia. Longing must be something good and not bad. Nobody has missed stub, or a tummy ache. We miss an exciting trip or a pleasant reunion with loved ones.Faced with something so devastating like what happened to us, it is essential to cultivate faith in God mainly because faith helps get the resignation with resiliency and gives hope of a reunion in the near future with our beloved ones.Our children are well next to the Fortified Tower:  "The Lord's name is a Fortified Tower to which the fair are welcome and are safe" Proverbs 18:10.We are the ones who need to be strong.

Outro dia li declarações que me chamaram a atenção.
Bem diferentes as duas visões.
Perder? Como? Não é nosso, recordam-se? Foi apenas um empréstimo!”

A loan

There is a passage in Genesis 31 which speaks of a father who when was told that his son had died "... tore his clothes, dressed in mourning and wept his son's death for a long time. All his sons and daughters tried to console him, but he refused the solace and said: In mourning for my son I will go down to the grave. "This is what many of us did, including myself, at first. As time goes by and as we groow in faith we conclude that this is not the way.Life is, above all, a an individual loan. But when we have children it is difficult to think individually. That's because when we are pregnant our connection is complete and we are, in fact, for some time, two in one. Perhaps because of that even after the birth of this beloved being that we kindly nurture, cultivate and educate with all our love and dedication, we continue thinking that we can not exist without him.The other day I read statements that caught my attention. The model Gisele Bundchen said to a magazine that "Children are our most valuable asset, we need to take care of them." Another was from the actress Gwyneth Paltrow: "Our job is to prepare children for the world."Well different the two visions. The first affirmative exposes the common failure that is to think that our children are ours. They are indeed valuable but are not assets and are not ours. The second is more realistic which is to prepare children for the world. I think that every mother intimately mix things but the truth is that the children we had are not ours.There is a passage in the book of the Old Testament, in Samuel 20, that tells King David's reaction when he learned of the death of his son: "Then David arose from the ground, washed, anointed himself and changed his clothes. Then came home, told his servants to serve meal and ate." It is an attitude of reaction, get up and live. That's what we need to do!After all it was only a loan from God, as the writer José Saramago says on the poem Children are for  the World "... child is a being who loaned us for a crash course in how to love someone besides ourselves, changing our worst faults to give the best examples and learn to be brave. That's right! Being a parent is the greatest act of courage that someone may have, because expose yourself to all sorts of pain, mainly from uncertainty to be acting correctly and the fear of losing something beloved. Losing? How? It is not ours, they remember? It was only a loan! "

Suffering is Inversely proportional to Faith

I wished my friends a new year of great peace and achieve peace is definitely what I want personally ... I consider this to be the greatest gifts anyone can receive, but to win the peace, faith is fundamental. Faith is indeed the path that leads to peace and peace conquer the inheritance that Jesus left us.

Faith is a word with Latin origin "fides" which means "trust," "belief," "credibility." It is faith that allows us to believe that our beloved children are watching over us and one day we will meet. To believe that leads us to peace that we so desperately need. Therefore, the greater the faith the less is the suffering.

We passed the largest of all the sufferings and therefore our faith should be even higher, that sort that  transpose mountains. This is necessary and possible now that we know the greatest love of the world, that kind of love that is unbeatable.

I enjoyed a quote from the book I just read "Living with Faith" (Viver com Fé) by Patricia and Cissa Guimarães, which says: "... Faith resides in the heart ... And it is only when we can unite mind and heart we can make the fear of the unknown get away and can put ourselves in the here and now. "

Today faith is my companion and my best friend. Thanks to her I bravely resist the comings and goings of nostalgia and of my strength. Believing, having faith I accepted reality and thus regain the energy to continue my mission. But wherever I go I carry in my heart my beautiful boy with green eyes, because my love for him is eternal.

"... Life is really very fragile thing, a silly, an irrelevance,

face of the eternity, of the love who you love ". "

A fé hoje é minha companheira e minha melhor amiga.

Do not ask why but for what

Today I went to Mass cebreting one month for the new life of the son of a dear friend of mine and a reading from the Book of Wisdom (4.7 to 15) I want to transcribe to you: "As for the righteous, even though he dies before the age, will enjoy home. The honor of old age does not come from a long life as life is not measured by the number of years. But wisdom is what makes the times of white hair, is a pure life that takes account of old age. He pleased God and was loved by Him, so God tranfered him from the middle of sinners where he lived. Was rapt so that malice will not corrupt the feeling nor the cunning pervertesse the soul: because the allure of addiction throws a veil over the moral beauty, and movement passions of a naive soul. Having come quickly to an end, come a long career. His soul was pleasant to the Lord so He withdrew quickly from the midst of wickedness. People who see this way of doing things do not understand, and not reflect this, that God's favor and his mercy are for his elect, and their assistance is among the faithful. "

This message speaks by in itself. It explains and console. We need to understand what to do to get over the pain  transforming it increasingly in love. But this is only possible to achieve with the strengthening of faith. After all we have an obligation to grow as people after what we went through. The pain was not huge enough to overcome the love we feel.

That in 2013 we can all see clearly and with the grace of God. May God increase the faith that comforts and grant us peace! May the light of the Lord our God be with us all the days of the new year so we can continue fulfilling our mission while expect our children happy in eternity.

New year, new life

New year could mean new life but being new is not synonymous of being good. However, a new year is a chance to be reborn, to do the best we can with what we are today.

To start with, the best thing to do is surrender to God and let Him be in control. Everything is transient. This new year is just a new opportunity to strengthen faith.

As for me I will try to do just that: live in the present and cultivate peace in the knowledge that my angel is with God and holding the hand of the Virgin Mary, the greatest example of determination, obedience to God and faith from a woman.

So when midnight comes I will closely ask my angel-pianist to play for me Maria, Maria, by the brazilian singer and songwritter Milton Nascimento, because as the lyrics says after all:... "You must  always dream, because who brings who brings in the body this brand has the strange habit of having faith in life... "

Much Peace in 2013!
