Issues that parents orphan of children must meet to move forward with serenity :

1. Suppose that before your child was born an angel told you that you would have a gorgeous child  but that his(her) life would be short. If  you could choose to have your child or not you rather have him(her) anyway?
2 . You were happy before he(she) was born?
3 . Have you always tried to do what you thought was best for your child?
4 . He(she) would approve your current behavior?
5 . Your attitudes help to change something or someone for better?
6 . I already gave my son (daughter) to God ?
7 . Do you believe in the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ ?
8 . Do you agree that the love you have for your son(daughter)  is eternal (because it is forever ) and infinity (because it has no measure) ?

If you answered yes to all these questions you are finding the fortress ! Surely God has prepared other ways that we should walk and follow confident and at peace .

Reading the Bible : "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer . He is my God . In him , my rock , I shelter, my shield and my saving strength, my strong tower , my refuge ... " Samuel 22 : 1-3 .

I was sure...

I was sure that God would have mercy on me . It was the day of mercy ... The disappointment and rebellion were huge !

Samuel , chapter 12 : 15-23 says, " ... and the boy became seriously ill . David besought the Lord for the boy , fasted , stood next to him and began to lay all night on the ground . The elders of his house tried to lift him , but he refused and would not eat anything with them . Seven days later the boy died ... David saw that his servants were whispering among themselves and he realized that the boy had died . Then he said : The boy died? They said : He is dead. Then David arose from the ground , washed and perfumed and changed . After entered the sanctuary of the Lord and fell . Then came home , ordered to serve the meal and ate . The servants asked ... David said : While the child was alive, I fasted and wept , thinking maybe the Lord had mercy on me and the boy stayed cured . But now he is dead. Why should I fast? Will it do it again ? I do I get to where he is, but he shall not return to me. "

I had the feeling of David , that everything was worthless as for nothing he would come back again. But he keeps coming back in my mind and how I want to go where he  I should follow God and cultivate faith . Faith nurtures healing and gives hope !

Because as the famous Brazilian Father Reginaldo Manzzoti says, " the righteousness of God is manifested in the resurrection. Death is not the end point . "

But crying and whining is not the solution. Weu need to react, to live again, following with faith!

Tinha certeza...

Samuel, capítulo 12: 15-23, diz: “... e o menino ficou gravemente enfermo.

A fé acalenta cura e dá esperança!

Everything is a matter of Reference

The principle of relativity says that different frames offer visions perfectly plausible, albeit different , the same effect. Before , when my son was physically here, I saw God in him . Now I can see my son in God ! So I keep seeking Him .

Since my beloved son went to heaven I started to read the Holy Bible daily from the start, something that had never been done . Highlighted the Bible passages that refer to eternal life, suffering , hardship, loss ... Anyway , all that relates to what we went through that somehow can explain, comfort and put us closer to God .

So from now on we will include in this blog www.ielnossoanjo.blogspot.com.br reflections on passages from the Holy Bible to clarify , through Divine illumination, and help to understand , accept , and especially strengthen the faith in God that precisely is what we need!

The stretch of today is Old Testament in Genesis : " ... Yahweh sent the word to Abraham in a vision : " Do not fear Abraham ! I am your shield, and your reward will be very great . " Genesis 15: 1-2

The word  Yahweh is a name of Hebrew origin to God. This passage caught my attention because of the strength Abraham receives through these words : " Do not be afraid ... " . Being afraid or to fear is a human response in various life situations. The thing I myself feared most in life was to lose a child and that was exactly what happened! My fear was worthless! . So to fear is unnecessary .

The important thing is to face all situations with the strength of God that he gives us  when He says : . " ... I am your shield " The shield protects , prevents to receives the impact from the front. That is to say: face that I will protect you , I'll be in front of you.

And goes on to say : . " ... Your reward will be very great " Our greatest reward will the reunion with our beloved children ! God knows that. And this reunion, we place our hope, with faith in His promises.
