Peace

 

 I still miss you, but I found peace

 I keep getting sad but peace stays with me

 I don't feel cheated by life anymore,

I accept and appreciate what life gave me.

 I keep trying to improve because I found peace

I keep fighting for what I believe because I found peace

Peace makes me live well

And as I do know that peace is the greatest gift

 Such a great gift that Jesus himself left us,

And since I know that my son lives beside Jesus,

 I know he got from heaven to give me peace

 The peace that illuminates and sustains me

A Paz

 

Eu continuo com saudade, mas encontrei a paz

Eu continuo ficando triste, mas a paz fica comigo

Não me sinto mais trapaceada pela vida,

Aceito e agradeço o que ela me deu.

Eu continuo tentando melhorar, porque encontrei a paz

Eu continuo lutando pelo que acredito, porque encontrei a paz

A paz me faz viver bem

Como sei que a paz é o maior presente

Um presente tão grande que o próprio Jesus nos deixou,

E como sei que meu filho vive ao lado de Jesus,

Sei que ele conseguiu do céu me dar a paz

A paz que me ilumina e sustenta

Understanding I:

 

*Although it didn't last as long as we wanted,

the lives of those we love was and is a gift

because we carry in us the love they left behind

and that we continue to feel.

*True love is eternal and infinite!

Eternal, because it's forever and

Infinite because it's so deep it has no measure

*There are events that we will never be able to explain

Perhaps because they are out of our current human understanding

It may be that one day what is today's mystery will no longer be tomorrow

But other mysteries will emerge.

*Prefer to surround yourself with uncomplicated people who enjoy doing good

They do not judge and are naturally admired, they have their own light...

I'm like that because I was infected by the light of people like that

*People say that when in doubt, it is always better to do than not to do.

I'm not sure about that.

What I do know is that regret is usually left in both cases:

What we did because affected other people and oneself

And we have not done because the regret of what didn't happen remains

*Invest in yourself as a person and as a professional.

Investing in you as a person makes yourself and others better

Investing in you as a professional, you develop your talents

By doing so, friends, loves and money will come

*Be simple and enjoy small achievements

Look at the sky and plants, not just books or the computer

But don't waste your talents.

If used well, they will bring you many achievements.

*Never be overbearing, except with your money and yourself.

With your money to define what you should apply it to

And with you to avoid excesses and cultivate what is good for you

*sons and daughters are all those we pray for and wish the best

because if we do that we care and love

and there is no greater merit than loving

and no greater achievement than being loved by the children of blood and/or heart

 

Entendimentos I:

 

*Apesar de não ter durado o quanto queríamos,

a vida dos que amamos foi e é um presente

porque carregamos em nós o amor que deixaram

e que continuamos sentindo.

 

*O amor verdadeiro é eterno e infinito!

Eterno, porque é para sempre e

Infinito porque é tão profundo que não tem medida

 

*Há acontecimentos que jamais conseguiremos explicar

Talvez porque estão fora do nosso entendimento humano atual

Pode ser que um dia o que é mistério de hoje deixe de sê-lo amanhã

Mas outros mistérios surgirão.

 

*Prefira se cercar de pessoas descomplicadas e que apreciam fazer o bem

Elas não julgam e são naturalmente admiradas, tem luz própria...

Sou assim porque fui contagiada pela luz de pessoas assim

 

*Dizem que na dúvida, é sempre melhor fazer do que deixar de fazer.

Não estou certa disso.

O que sei é que em geral fica o arrependimento em ambos os casos:

O de ter feito por ter afetado outras pessoas e a si próprio

E o de não ter feito porque fica o arrependimento do que não aconteceu

 

*Invista em você como pessoa e como profissional.

Investindo em você como pessoa você faz bem a outros

Investindo em você como profissional você desenvolve seus talentos

Assim fazendo,  amigos, amores e dinheiro virão

 

*Seja simples e aproveite pequenas conquistas

Olhe o céu e as plantas e não apenas livros ou o computador

Mas não desperdice seus talentos.

Se bem aproveitados eles lhe renderão muitas realizações

 

*Nunca seja autoritário(a), exceto com seu dinheiro e com você.

Você deve mandar em seu dinheiro o suficiente para definir em que deve aplicá-lo

E em você para evitar excessos e cultivar o que lhe faz bem

 

*Filhos são todos os que aqueles por quem rezamos e por quem torcemos

porque se assim fazemos isso nós cuidamos e amamos

e não existe maior mérito do que amar

nem maior conquista do que ser amado(a) pelos filhos de sangue e/ou de coração

I love this song by Alanis Morissete that says: Well, life has a funny way of tripping you up when you think everything is fine and everything is going well. And life has a funny way of helping you when you think everything went wrong and it all blows up in your face. 

This is real. I've felt tripped up in life not once but a few times. The strongest trip that hurt me the most was my son's separation. I'm sure this was also the biggest mistake that you who read this blog received. This trip left us with sequels, some huge and insurmountable. But we all get tripped up throughout our lives. Some bigger, some smaller.

We also receive help when we fall as a result of life's trip. In these moments, we receive help from friends, family but mainly from faith. And those who allow themselves to believe are most comforted. 

The other day, a colleague commented on a whatsApp group about the death of a colleague's brother, a victim of covid19. Several colleagues manifested themselves giving condolences and words in accordance with invoking God. Another atheist fellow responded to these messages with a question: and who doesn't believe in God? I promptly replied: suffer more!

It is true. Suffers much more. If we all get tripped up when everything looks good and if we are comforted when tripping up happens, why not believe in the greatest comfort that comes from God?

It's really ironic not to believe!
