Everything is a matter of choice

Facing a fact occurred, we do not the option of change, but we can choose how to live henceforth. What struck us so deeply is unchanging and memorable and therefore acts as a constraint in our living. Even so, we can choose how to live.
We can choose to survive so bitter, maximizing our dissatisfaction or we can try to maximize the utility of the time we still have despite the s
uffered coup. Everything is a matter of choice. Such choices, despite seeming lonely, are not. They affect all who are around us and can harm or improve the lives of many.
If we opt for the first course of action, letting the sadness consume us, we cultivate the isolation, resentment and living eternally in tears. Those tears will affect who is around us, not only blurring our vision but the vision of life of the ones that surround us.
But if we opt for the second choicereacting and tryng to make a lemonade out of a lemon, we will be encouraging and represent a model for many and certainly will be contributing to building a less sad world. The cultivation of faith in God helps in choosing the most rational option.
"Just for today I will not cry anymore.
Just for today I hope I can accept what happened and what will come.
Just for today I will remember that I am happy."
Renato Russo, brazilian composer and singer
