Thank you son!

Thank you for all you have been and always will be to me. I remember every one of the details that are and will be forever present in my memory that reproduces frequently and when so desire, like a good and present movie.
One of those details that I now remember is when you'd happily travel to the airport or leave someone there. When this was the case, you always liked to see the plane take off. Sometimes I was with you and we stayed looking at the plane until it disappeared in the sky.
I think our life is really like a journey. We do not see the plane with its passengers. But just because we do not see anymore, does not mean that the airplane does not exist anymore. It exists and is there somewhere towards the destination or on the destination.
All of us have to fulfill missions on our lives. I say this for sure and it can be attested in the gospel of St. Matthew 16: 21-23:
"And Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and should be killed, and be raised again the third day."
That is, everything was already planned and was part of the mission of Jesus.
Continuing: "Then Peter took Jesus aside and rebuked him, saying," God forbid such a thing, Lord! May it never happen to you! "
That is, Peter wanted to prevent the fulfillment of the mission of the Son of God
"But Jesus turned to Peter and said: Stay away from me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you do not think the things of God, but the things of men! "
That is, Jesus did not see death as a bad but the fact that Pedro wanted to prevent Him to accomplish His mission.
If we rely on the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christto assure eternal life, we also believe as Jesus, each of us has our own mission. Except that we do not have the power to predict, certainly because if we had that power, we would do everything to prevent the complete fulfillment of the mission.
Who left us is because accomplished his mission. While we think that time was very small, this was the time allowed and the mission was accomplished.
The time of our beloved sons was small for us, certainly because our concept of time isrestricted and different from the greatness of God. But the fact is that their mission was fully accomplished and they are already in the destination that soon, if God permits, we will reach. After all our children exist and will always exist in us where there is already a piece of eternity.
