Salt of the Earth

In another moment of sadness I wrote:
 This warm life ...

without extremes

Trying to contain low

Not sweeping the top

Warm Life, linear

No effects or embellishments

Warm Life ...

Neither hot nor cold

Waiting and living each day

Taking one step after another

Without the excitement of before

When the cold gave me the creeps

And I flipped the hot

This warm life ...

No life ...

For life is all or nothing

Hot or cold

Warm life, without salt

Neither good nor bad

Only boring without you!

When finished writing, I recalled the following passage from the Gospel of

Our Lord Jesus Christ according to Matthew on the salt of the earth that was
read to me by my dear friend Silvana Carneiro by phone:

"You are the salt of the earth. And if the salt loses its strength with which

else shall it be salted? For nothing else is serving, but

to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. "(Matthew 5:13)

My friend told me I am the salt of my home and friends and so I should be the
way I used to be for if not all would be sad and lifeless.

In fact, all of us parents, we are the salt that flavors our house, family and
friends. I'm trying ... We have to try and get it!
