The sense of life

We are envious of children, not pecause of their age but because they find meaning in life!
God has a plan for each of us just as every parent has a plan for their children and wants to see them happy. But if and so it is, why did I suffer the premature departure of my son? It's the question that does not want to shut up. Another question might answer: Why do parents send children to school? They would certainly rather stay at home and play.
That is why we must always ask: What does God want from me?
We carry in us the gift of being able to be happy because even what is missing is part of God's plans.
Do you remember the parable of the talents? Talent is a coin that equals approximately $ 2,000.00 (two thousand dollars). So even the one who received only 1 talent received a lot! Sense: we must make yield what God has given us! In the parable the one who received 5 talents, profit another 5, that is to say it profited 100%. The one who received 2 talents earned a further 2, also profited 100%. That is, it does not matter if you received a lot or little, what matters is make it yield! And that is the meaning of life!
What has happened to us can be the meaning of our lives! Who received little is the same as someone who says: I do not hurt anyone. But this is too little! The parable servant who received only one talent buried him and placed the blame on the Lord. But it is not the lord's fault but the servant's laziness! One day we will give back to God what we have received: life. But for now we have to make it work. Our Lady profied her life despite everything she went through. We have to find meaning in everything we do.

Time is a gift and pass quickly! I must render what I have and prepare myself for the embrace with God, not letting me overcome by disappointments and having humility to get up. All of us and those who left before us are united because each of us carries the gift of being happy forever. But sometimes we do not know the way to heaven and we need to recalculate the route. The saints, who are our models, were born, fought and went to heaven (they won!). Everyone in this life is born, suffers and dies! We, who have faith, must: be born, strive and die in the certainty of eternal life.

Tempo de Hoje/Today's Time

Today's Time

I stand here watching the time of today fight with the time of yesterday
But what nonsense ...
Tomorrow today's time will be yesterday
It's just that I wanted today's time to be like yesterday's
And for wanting that I forget today
The wind, the time, the space ...
Everything flees beyond my reach.
Everything changes
Less love ...
So it does not make sense to want yesterday's time.
And it's not worth losing today thinking about yesterday
Love is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow.

That's what matters the rest is waste of time.

Reciclagem

Recycling

Another birthday with celebrations in my heart
I intimately wake you up with that song
I see your beautiful smile in my thoughts.
And I face the day just like you did.
I embrace other arms to feel that they are yours
I believe in the strength of nature and so I recycle
I think other creations represent you
You are born again just like butterflies.
Life goes on as beautiful as it always has been
Because I believe your spirit is here.
Well alive, well present and good as born to be.

Life is not for waste!

Machucada Sou

A saudade machuca
Machucada sou
Vivo tentando um remédio
Buscando uma formula
Esperando sarar
Como remédio me dedico ao trabalho
A fórmula que encontrei é aproveitar o agora
Com quem tenho hoje
Continuo esperando a sarar

Então, me conformo.

Injured I do live

Longing hurts
Injured I do live
I'm trying to get a medicine.
Searching for a formula
Waiting to heal
Working hard is my medicine
The formula I found is to take advantage of the now
With whom I have today
I'm still waiting to heal
And I know that healing is not for this plan.
Tears are inevitable
Smiling is always a good palliative.
I cultivate new projects
Sometimes with a tear
And a smile on my face
But my beautiful son is Always in my heart.
So, I am OK

Do tempo inocente e do espaço primeiro

Agora tenho muita saudade desse tempo
Dos parques que frequentávamos
Dos passeios que fazíamos...

Ah tempo...
Queria meu filho neste espaço, neste tempo.
Mas pensando bem me sinto privilegiada
Fui presenteada durante esse caminhar
Sinto saudade... Muita saudade...

Mas o tempo é agora e aqui.

Ah the time ... oh space!

When I was a child I lived in a quiet town
I used to ride my bike and walked untroubled by the streets.
Our house looked huge and our street was the world

When I grew up, the challenges began.
I wanted back that time
Had a new space, new friends

Each space and time had its beauty
But often I missed the lack of concern
From innocent time and space first

The achievements came in a new time and a new world
And with them, more work and responsibilities
But also came the new loves.
So much dedication and concern was my trophy
And the joy of being able to ride a train was great.
Teach to walk and then how to ride a bike

I miss this time so much
From the parks we used to go to
Of the tours we did ...

Ah time ... Oh space
I wish I could tame you
I wanted to mix the two the way I wanted
Bring back and in a magic undo pass
I wanted at that time to have the wisdom that I have now
I wanted now not to have the baggage of pain that I carry
I wanted my son in this space, at this time.
But I think I feel privileged
I was presented during this walk
I miss you... so much miss you...
But the time is now and here.

O Livro Verde

O livro verde

Afinal ela estava no Brasil e queria aprender a língua.
As páginas fluíram.

The Green Book

Today I saw that book after many years.
The green book my father insisted on making me hear and read all English lessons. I began to see the book in a hard green cover at age 10 after taking a very low grade in English. Yes English, the language my father wanted so much for me to learn!
But I learned. I have read so many times that I know by heart, even today, all the chapters
I have often been angry with the green cover book:
He stole me from jokes and merry moments on the sidewalk of Admiral Barroso Street and sometimes prevented me from watching favorite shows. My dad was always there with the green book coming home from work.
It was a kind of ritual, as soon as he arrived home would take my mother to work in a school where she taught, then would took a shower, had soup and take the book and me and him, together, would listen and then read.
When I was already in bed to sleep, my father used to ask me to put headphones with recordings of the book's class so I could continue to listen even after falling asleep. After a few minutes, I think, he would turn the recorder off.
No wonder I know all the lessons by heart. Nor is it any wonder that I have had facility of speaking the language. At 13 I decided to teach the neighborhood students
*Free English Classes*, I placed proudly on the board outside our house. I made the garage our classroom that had good attendance.
At 14 my father hired an American teacher along with two other co-workers and took me to these classes together. At night when we did not have the english classes, we used to listen to the audios of the green book.
At 15 I tried to go to the United States, I wanted to go as na Exchange student but my parents did not allow it, they were afraid to send me and I was frustrated here. After all, I thought, all the study in the Green Book would worth nothing.
At 16 I met an American sister who came to Brazil and from whom I became inseparable. I loved talking to her in English and practice with her what I had learned in the book
But in a short time she just wanted to speak Portuguese. After all, she was in Brazil and wanted to learn the portuguese.
To earn some money here she started teaching in an English course and gave private lessons. Before long she had so many students that she gave me some students to teach.
After she returned to the US I was sure that I would live there.
I made the selection and began to teach in an English course in order to save Money for the trip so dreamed up. I saved money, got married, and traveled through the United States for almost two months, I went from north to south and from east to west. But it was not enough. I wanted to live and experience what I read in the green book.
I graduated in economics and after the master's degree I decided, stimulated once again by my father, that I should do my doctorate in the United States. I tried Stanford to stay close to my American sister but I got Illinois that I had been suggested by friends. I spent four long years with husband and children in the State of Illinois.
And there I received, at least three times, the visit of my parents. I came back with my Ph.D. degree in hands. I always thought winning a challenge meant victory. It is not! Victory has a multidimensional sense.
In some dimensions I won but in others, the ones that really matter, I lost.
That's why the Green Book is very important. He led me to conquer what I wanted and this conquest made my children know more than its content. But most importantly, the green book reminds me of lessons that have been forever tattooed on my soul and my heart, it brings me back to a time when the book of my life, green in hope, was only on the front pages.
The pages flowed. I met, loves, romances, dramas and tragedies.
Everything stayed in me and I take with me, in my thoughts, wherever I go.
Always with hope. The hope in miracles like the one I was granted today.

Thanks to the God of the impossible!

Transformation

I have already discredited God
But when I saw you, I believed
You were a gift, a work of God
Thanks to you, my son, I believe
And faith makes me follow, strengthens me
Today I know that the immense God who made you
Saves us from something always worse.
Proposes us a mission
Supports and consoles us
I accept what I went through and I feel
I take and appreciate what
Life shows me
I do not reject awards
Although I know that greater Ward than

a son will never have again!

Graças a você, meu filho, acredito
E a fé me faz seguir, me fortalece
Hoje sei que o Deus imenso que fez você
Nos poupa de algo sempre pior
Nos propõe uma missão
Nos apoia e consola
Aceito o que passei e sinto
Aproveito e aprecio o que
A vida me apresenta
Não rejeito prêmios
Embora saiba que prêmio maior do
Que um filho, jamais terei!

Every mother is a risk lover.

Being a mother means taking risks
Risk of not being able to maintain pregnancy
Risk of dying at childbirth
Risk of having an unhealthy child ...

Being a mother is also to accept certainties
Certainties that take her out of the comfort zone
As to spend sleepless nights
Worry about diseases
Teach and care always
Even if the child does not want to

But this, all mothers already knows and accepts
The challenge is the risk
Risk of suffering
Risk of facing what was not wanted
And the biggest of them all: the risk of presencing the departure

This is indescribable
And represents the greatest pain anyone can experience.
Even so the prize of having a child is so great
That any risk compensates
To have a son or a daughther is to obtain enormous grace
So we deserve congratulations, forever

Saturday of Hallelujah!

Thank you God for the hope.
That turned certainty
Thank you for your encouragement and for your strength.
I did not know that I would have
Nothing is more important than trusting in your promise
May you always give us peace.
Today is 5 years but the departure of our son
We can not measure with time
Longing is infinite and love too
That's why I thank you so much,
With your pain You have shown that we must accept suffering
That each of us has a mission
Our mission was to carry this longing forever

And transformed pain into love that spreads

Reconhecer erros, driblar defeitos
Amar incondicionalmente,

Meu anjo me ajudou a descobrir

Mas demorei muito...

Be wise

Is not having a Ph.D.
Neither is being recognized as a genius
It is not having books published
Or followers on the internet
It's not understanding everything
Neither having a remarkable memory.
It is not knowing several languages or knowing several countries
Neither is taming and proposing mathematical formulas
Algebraic descriptions or complex programing

But it's simply be wanted
Be a good company, be a friend.
Is accepting what can not be changed
And to try to contribute always whatever your condition
It is be authentic,
Recognize mistakes, circumvent defects
Love unconditionally,
Is to Look into the eyes and capture what others need
And get sated with the simple that is around.
That's how far you can see
What is actually in today

My angel helped me figure it out
But it took me a long time ...

Deus do Impossível

Ela renasceu!!!

Me lembrei do sonho e após vários outros pequenos sinais
O Deus do impossível!

God of the impossible

Yesterday I dreamed about my son.
It had not happened for some time
I dreamed that he was born
So the dream was beautiful and only euphoria

When I woke up, I immediately recalled
And while I was washing my face rolled a tear
In my thinking came a request
A request to God to never dream like this again
It's hard to wake up to reality.
I decided not to tell anyone about the dream

Later, at noon, my sister called me.
She invited me to lunch in order to commemorate
the nineth month of transplantation
of my beloved niece
She was reborn !!!

I remembered the dream
and after several other small signs
I was sure that my son somehow
lives in my niece, my daughter.
I believe that because I believe in God:
The God of the impossible!

Janela Azul

A natureza humilha a gente.

Parece que sim. Ele estava certo.
A natureza enaltece por sua beleza,
Imensidão e robustez
A mesma robustez que rouba e humilha
Ao destruir e tirar com sua força

Assim a natureza deixa um misto
De admiração e revolta
Mas de que adianta a revolta?
A natureza continua seu curso
E a, vida de tudo e de todos,
Continua a ter início, meio e

Fim. Só o amor não tem fim!

Blue window

That afternoon on a sunny day I called
My son from Valetta, on the island of Malta
I said I had a statue in my hand.
Of Crusaders that I Would Present Him
He liked warriors and always was one of them.

Today I knew that a beautiful window of stones,
The blue window in Malta
was gonne as on a magic pass
What nature created over the years
A wave destroyed in minutes
My son is like the blue window
That nature has also created
And a wave destroyed in minutes

Once my beloved father, a wise and gooodhumored man,
Told me when he falled ill,
Just before his departure,
A phrase that marked me:
Nature humiliates us.

It seems so. Was he right.
Nature exalts for its beauty,
Immensity and robustness
The same sturdiness that humiliates
By destroying and taking away with its strength

So nature leaves a mix
Of admiration and revolt
But the rebellion for what? No use.
Nature Continues Its Course
And the life of everything and everyone.
Has beginning, middle and

End. Only love has no end!

É passar percebendo a simplicidade bonita

Constant Decision

I remember those rainy days
I feel dripping with impotence because I cannot make time come back
I remember the cookies I used to prepare
From the din of food and the smell of grass
I still smell the same wet grass
Drenched as my heart

But today I miss and the desire to live those days again
Today's decision is to be happy to have lived those days
And so live the rain of today and others to come
Life is a constant decision
And I decide to wipe my heart.
Feel the drops and the smell of the grass

I decide rationally to enjoy this day
And to enjoy is not to stay watching the time pass
It is pass realizing the beautiful simplicity
And believe that who I love lives with me
Simply live and follow as long as God wants.
